Mental Health & Counseling
- Treatment for PTSD, CPTSD, percussion injuries, and TBI for veterans and first responders, both on-campus and in the community.
- Therapies include BrainSpotting, EMDR, couples counseling, grief recovery, affair recovery, and anger/mood regulation.
- Sliding-scale mental health services for veterans’ and first responders’ families, including play therapy for children.
- Services provided by graduate school interns from various universities.
Rehabilitation & Career Support
- Occupational therapy provided by graduate students.
- Career counseling offered by social work and counseling grad students.
- Classes on budgeting, financial peace, Tai Chi, and Yoga, led by community members passionate about helping veterans.
Therapeutic & Recreational Activities
- Greenhouse and garden managed by a master gardener, allowing veterans to grow vegetables and spices.
- Therapy dog training center where veterans can train their own service dogs and prepare additional dogs for fellow veterans in need.
Community & Social Engagement
- Veterans’ social club to prevent isolation, open to both on-site and community veterans.
- Opportunities for live music performances, including open mic nights and guest musicians, potentially involving university music students.
