Henry Heidelberger, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with offices in Conway and Little Rock, AR. He met his wife, Yyuvone, on Christian Mingle in 2008, and from the start, they shared a passion for ministry.
Henry founded God’s Smile Ministries in Memphis, establishing three sober living homes for women transitioning from rehab to recovery. Together, he and Yyuvone led Celebrate Recovery meetings for four years, helping people heal from “Hurts, Habits, and Hangups.” Yyuvone proved to be an exceptional organizer, teacher, and presenter, managing key details of their initiatives.
Before becoming a therapist, Henry had a successful 15-year career in real estate, specializing in multi-family properties and rental portfolios. His work in sober living homes revealed the deep impact of family relationships on addiction recovery, inspiring him to pursue Marriage and Family Therapy. At 53, he returned to school, earning a BA in Psychology and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University, with Yyuvone’s unwavering support.
Deeply patriotic, Henry and Yyuvone have strong ties to the military. In 2009, during a Memorial Day service at the Veterans National Cemetery in Collierville, TN, Henry was struck by the sight of families walking without their loved ones. This moment moved him to write The Flag We Wave, a poem that became the foundation for their passion project, which they have nurtured since 2010.
